Right Care Nursery and Primary Schools, Mityana branch

It is a pleasure to introduce our ministry schools, Right Care Nursery and Primary Schools.

Right Care – as popularly known- is part of our disciple making goal. It was started as part of nurturing our children in the ways of God. Currently, we have three sister schools in the districts of Wakiso, Mpigi and Mityana in Uganda.

We are dreaming bigger! We are planning to go beyond offering primary education by starting our very own High School.

Our story

As a ministry, we have always carried around a burden of seeing that every child gets a decent education, no matter their background. As such, for many years, the church rendered a helping hand to children of our congregants and the community to go to school by directly paying their school fees, or soliciting for scholarships and bursaries from other schools at both primary and high school levels.

Although this was beneficial, we wanted to have a far reaching impact and a more reliable and sustainable way of helping our people and the community. What better way to do this than starting our very own school!

In 2009, Right Care School Zana campus was started within the church premises that we had at the time, with 29 learners. Although we desired to offer free education for all, we couldn’t run and sustain the school this way. Instead, we decided to offer good quality education at a very affordable price for some, which would then help us support others who cannot afford at all.

Due to demand, we started our second campus in 2014, in Mpigi district (Kammengo sub-county, Nabyewanga Kampiringisa Village) This was an extension of the Zana school, to offer wider learning space for our children to thrive, but also to cater for learners and parents that needed a boarding primary school.

Later in 2018, we started another school in Mityana district, (Bbanda sub-county, Kayanga parish, Ssinga Village) to give the same quality education to the under privileged children in the fishing communities around Lake Wamala.

As our name suggests, Right Care Schools aim at providing affordable but quality education to its learners while instilling in them Christian values.
